Making a million from self-publishing

There are countless stories of exceptional success in all fields, from sports to business to the arts, but it is always good to hear about a self-published author hitting the heights of commercial success. Adam Croft’s story is the latest of these.
Six month’s ago, Adam self-published his ninth book. It was a crime novel entitled Her Last Tomorrow. The tagline for the book, and its premise, was: ‘Could you murder your wife to save your daughter?’
Today, Her Last Tomorrow is ranked 126 on the Amazon bestseller lists. Royalties are equating to £2,000 per day, and the author’s mortgage is paid off. Sales are heading for £1 million this year, and the author has been signed up by Thomas & Mercer, Amazon’s crime imprint.
Things have, it’s safe to say, worked out well.
