Frankfurt Book Fair is looming, and some of the biggest book deals of the year will happen over the coming weeks. One of the titles that will be presented at the fair is Himself, a literary crime novel set in Ireland, by Jess Kidd.
This novel is being represented by the literary agents Conville & Walsh, of Soho, London. Other authors authors represented by Conville & Walsh include Rachel Joyce (The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry) and SJ Watson (Before I go to Sleep). Conville & Walsh also run an interesting competition for unpublished manuscripts, called The Word of Mouth Prize. This is open to all authors, and the first prize is £1,000.
